Furnace patching materials repair worn or eroded spots in a lining without a full reline, extending campaign life on smaller furnaces. DFP India supplies two grades for 300 kg to 5 ton induction furnaces: Alu Pak 73 Cr, a chrome-based patching material, and DoruPlast 90 IND, a high-alumina material with a fine 0–1 mm grain size.
